Excel Twitters 20100115
Excel is making some people feel powerful, while others are confused. Maybe their brains are starved from being on the New Year’s diets. But remember — size doesn’t matter!
Activate the Neurons
- the MS Excel sumproduct function is powerful, and also confusing >:)
- Playing with Excel formulas, trying to activate the neurons that understand them. Only one line of code is too short for my imagination!
- I spent the last hour + on a 310 char excel formula, possibly the best i have ever written. #loveWhenICanAutomate
- It’s "act like an Excel magician" day for me at work. If() is the most powerful command in Excel. IfError() is also nice.
Still Confused
- can get really snarky at the way Excel’s use of the Windows clipboard is unilke that of any other app. Cut, copy, paste – standards, no?
- Filling up excel sheet and reports always always creates goosebumps for me. I hate these things
- Thinking that Excel Services is more about cutting / pasting from multiple to one spreadsheet rather than any SharePoint skill…
- i have been staring at the same excel spreadsheet for the past 8 hours.. and i am still confused.
The Excel Diet
- Going back on "poor girls weight watchers" which includes a personally-made excel sheet and bootleg WW sites to find points
- right have printed myself an excel diet progress chart lol…have got to get back on the wagon!!!
All About Size
- Oh dear me. I just made this comment: "I’m all about size." I swear I was referring to a 7 MB excel spreadsheet I was working on.
