Microsoft Build starts tomorrow, May 25th, and runs until May 27th. Are you registered to attend the online sessions this year?
What is Microsoft Build?
Microsoft Build is an annual conference, organized by Microsoft, with content aimed at web and software developers. Get all the details on this year’s event on the Microsoft Build site.
There are usually major product announcements, and this article on The Verge site lists the highlights from last year’s keynote. The main trend was that Microsoft is moving its focus from individual products (like Office apps), to platforms (like Office or Windows).
Microsoft Build History
Microsoft Build started in 2011, and the 5000 or so conference tickets used to sell out quickly, when it was an in-person event. Ticket prices were about $2000 or more each year.
In 2020, the in-person Build conference was cancelled, due to the pandemic, and it was held online instead, from May 19-26, 2020, with free registration.
Build is online again this year, and instead of paying $2K or more to attend, you can register for the online version of Build for free!
