Meanwhile, Excel is shifting formulas around, and helping to track some shifty political expenses. And I use VLOOKUP almost every day, but not much call for Proper, Concatenate or Len.<\/p>\n<h3>Signs of the Apocalypse<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Class ring arrived today, but I can&#8217;t wear it yet. I&#8217;ve got to earn it first! Three days. The Econ icon is a screen w\/ an Excel pie chart.<\/li>\n<li>Holy whoa, Excel is actually AGREEING WITH ME. ON A CHART. (apocalypse!)<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m in Excel drawing a trendline on a chart and it&#8217;s using y=mx+b! I have finally applied slope intercept formula to real life!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Fun With Formulas<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;a formula in this worksheet contains one or more invalid references&#8221;. that&#8217;s nice, excel. would you like to tell me which it is?<\/li>\n<li>Proper, Concatenate, and LEN are 3 of my favorite Excel functions. Use them all the time. I think that makes me a producer automatically.<\/li>\n<li>I work for a BI company, providing a BI solution for a customer, but I can&#8217;t use BI tools to produce my weekly report! I have to use excel!<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m now using Excel to plot out act 2 of teh Walter screenplay. Is there anything a spreadsheet can&#8217;t do?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Good Thinking<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>gotta love vba program comments in released software &#8211; &#8220;It wont work without a swap like this. I don&#8217;t get it.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>I have a feeling that knowing VBA will make me really marketable when I move to Texas. What do you think?<\/li>\n<li>Finally fixed a tedious Excel query macro error after having big realization in the shower this a.m. It&#8217;s where I do all my good thinking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Local Experts<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Excel class coming up.
