Instead of a language so pervasive and easily learnable that it was used for the dreariest clerical data. Imagine summoning a demon by reading formulas off an Excel spreadsheet.<\/li>\n<li>I have to use this stupid excel spreadsheet for some of my work reporting and it is so full of errors and really is not user friendly. Someone was def up-selling their excel skills when they put this together<\/li>\n<li>What do you do for fun? Work. Read. Charts.graphs. Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Someone at work:&#8221;I have a problem with&#8230;&#8221;Me: &#8220;I made an Excel sheet for this which could help to organize this.&#8221; Everyone: &#8220;OF COURSE you have an Excel sheet. You always have!&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>My dad brought his old work laptop home. It had a word processor, some early version of excel, and if you hit F8 it switched between the work sheet and a chess game.<\/li>\n<li>I have QuickBooks and Excel open in front of me all day and whenever I need to do math I still use the stupid four-function Calculator application<\/li>\n<li>I\u2019m convinced office work is 75% pretending to be doing something important and 25% opening and closing excel<\/li>\n<li>My family keeps texting me beautiful pictures from their vacation, and I&#8217;m sitting here in my office thinking, &#8220;Well at least my pivot table looks nice.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>BOOM &#8211; I* have made excel work with pre-1900 dates.*By I, I mean I downloaded an add-in by some dude because the macro code was damn confusing.<\/li>\n<li>Woke up in the middle of the night and now I\u2019m working on excel spreadsheets&#8230; work really getting to me<\/li>\n<li>It used to be so simple&#8230;Overheard at work comparing the upload of an excel file that took 5 minutes to complete to spending a day on a typewriter with a calculator<\/li>\n<li>What&#8217;s the German word for spending more time trying to get an Excel formula to work than it would&#8217;ve taken if you would&#8217;ve manually done the work yourself<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>This Week\u2019s Tweets \u2013 Embedded<\/h3>\n<p>Here are the embedded tweets.
