There are usually major product announcements, and this article on The Verge site lists the highlights from last year’s keynote<\/a>. The main trend was that Microsoft is moving its focus from individual products (like Office apps), to platforms (like Office or Windows).<\/p>\n Microsoft Build started in 2011, and the 5000 or so conference tickets used to sell out quickly, when it was an in-person event.
