Last week, I had fun with a Shakespearean sonnet about Excel problems, written by ChatGPT. So, to keep myself further entertained, I tried a different type of poetry this week \u2013 a limerick!<\/p>\n

Limericks can get a bit risqu\u00e9 sometimes, so I asked ChatGPT to use “language suitable for the workplace”. In hindsight, I probably should have clarified what type of workplace, but things turned out well, fortunately, so “Phew!”<\/p>\n
This week, the topic I selected was Excel Data Validation, and I asked for five limericks on that topic \u2013 it’s one of my favourite features in Excel.<\/p>\n

There’s also a data validation video below the limericks.<\/p>\n I like the “trick or treat” theme in this one!<\/p>\n In Excel, data validation’s a treat, Yes, bad dates can be a problem \u2013 in Excel and in life!<\/p>\n When inputting dates, don’t be late, Never let your min and max get out of whack!<\/p>\n To keep data within a range, I see what you did there, ChatGPT \u2013 don’t “fumble” your “drop’ down list!<\/p>\n If you want to use a list, And finally, the mental health benefits of data validation!<\/p>\n To ensure no duplicates appear, To create a drop down list in Excel, you can name a list of items, based on a named Excel table.
