Excel Twitters 20100105
It’s pretty cold here this week, so that Palm Springs Film Festival sure sounds tempting. But I’ll probably just stay inside and watch The Simpsons. But wherever I am, I definitely won’t be smoking!
What We’re Watching
- curling up in bed attempting to finish up these excel documents…$10 says I lose interest in the next 30mins and watch The Simpsons instead
- yeah, we are going to have to talk about this addiction to excel. I think there is a show on TLC about it…
- The post where I spend too much time mixing my love of Excel with that of the Palm Springs Film Festival – http://j.mp/8I51qu – #PSIFF
- I’m going to make a documentary called Gihm doing work. It will be in the fashion of ‘Kobe Doin Work’ but Excel, not basketball.
Smoking Is Bad
- Now on to reviewing lesson plan for Excel class. I’m smokin’! Not really. Smoking is bad for you. I meant that metaphorically. Or something.
- I don’t understand why I can’t light one up at work –I mean I would focus more on my damn excel sheets
Your Tax Dollars
- our entire office was taught how to use the Sort function in Excel today. I kid you not. your tax dollars at work!
- Ugggh, not happy, have to redo all my Excel sheets and invoices for the return to the old VAT rate. What a waste of time. Thanks Government!
Who Chose the Defaults?
- thanks 🙂 It is really frustrating to try and use excel for something it wasn’t designed for (charts, for instance :P)
- New Excel charts look much prettier than old ones, WAAY LESS INTUITIVE TO PUT TOGETHER
- Why can’t I find black & white texture options in Excel 2007 charts anymore? Hasn’t anyone at Microsoft ever had to write a dissertation?
- We need to find the person who chose the defaults for Excel charts. And have a discussion with them.Possibly involving baseball bats.
