Excel Tweets Roundup 20200306
After a day of Excel work, do you rush home to play in Excel? Or are your arms too tired, after all the cutting and pasting? A spreadsheet assassin wouldn’t snivel about things like that!
This Week’s Tweets
Here are my favourite Excel tweets, from all the ones that I saw on Twitter this week.

Created an #excel document today that I honestly think is possibly one of the best pieces of work I’ve ever done. Lots of arrays, dynamic, ranges and lookups and it looks fantastic. It’s geeky I know but I’m proud of it.

I worked on both File and Multiplan. My job was to make them work well on 128kb (k, not m or g) RAM Macs.
Most people don’t know that Excel was also originally a Mac program. I worked on that too, doing the least appreciated feature, copy protection. https://t.co/k4pP6kn0wN

It’s amazing how much consulting and technical delivery work ultimately comes down to your skills with Excel & PowerPoint. You can be a cloud rockstar but you’re cooked if you can’t rock data-filters & pivot tables.

Every day this boomer accountant comes into the coffee shop where I like to work and spends HOURS peering over a printed ledger of numbers and RAGING at his computer as we tries to wrangle them into a digital format. Might be time to take an Excel class.
