Are You Proficient in Excel Like Bryan?

On TikTok, I follow Bryan Nothling aka thebnoth, because he’s funny, and he’s Canadian! His “working from home” videos have brightened my days, and he has over 200K followers, so I’m not the only person who enjoys them.

One of Bryan’s latest TikTok videos is extra funny to me, because he claims, “I’m proficient in Excel”.

I’m sure you’ve met a few people who make the same bold claim, and they barely know how to open an Excel  workbook.  

I’ve put the video below, so you can take a look, and see if you recognize any of the “proficient in Excel” claims.

My two favourites comments in Bryan’s video are,

• “I can add a pie chart chart”
• “Is the border of your cell thin? I can thicken that up for you.”

Who is Bryan Nothling?

I’ve never met Bryan Nothling, but his LinkedIn profile says he’s a QA Analyst in the healthcare industry, based in Toronto.

And he was a logistics coordinator before that, so Bryan probably know a lot more about Excel than he lets on in his TikTok video!

Also, he was a Theatre major at university, so it’s a perfect fit to feature his Excel video here on the Excel Theatre Blog!
